My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


I have had Rudy since he was a puppy. He has been my running companion and accompanied me on many runs in the cooler weather. Would love to find a home where he can be active.



Reason
My father was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in March. He is in chemotherapy, and I need to relocate to my parents condo complex in order to assist them. The condo complex does not allow large dogs.



Adjectives that describe your pet:
Rudy is a sweet, submissive dog. He gets along with cats and children. He gets along with other dogs, but he prefers to be by himself. He loves to go outside and chase sticks but also loves sleeping!



Best Qualities
Very obedient. Very submissive, will never try to dominate another dog or cat. Can play and enjoys being active, but calms down immediately inside and loves to sleep in the air conditioning!



Favorite Activities
Loves to run, but can't tolerate the summer heat for very long. Loves to swim. Absolutely loves to chase stick and balls.



Commands or Tricks
Sit/stay. Wait. Drop it/off (to let go of a stick or ball). Stands perfectly for bathing and nail trimming. Leads very well.



Cute/funny quirks
Loves foot and will look as pitiful as possible in hopes of getting a treat!



Special toys or treats that they love
Any and all food. Loves to chew on sticks. Loves to chase balls. Is very good inside and will not play rough or chew anything up.
