My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Buttercup. I was rescued from the Greenville Animal Shelter where they had no more space to keep me and were going to make me sleep forever. I am about 3 years old and spayed. My previous owner kept me confined and gave me all the food I wanted. All the other dogs at the pound called me rude names because I was overweight. Anyhow, I am now on a diet and getting walks at my foster home, so I will be slim and trim soon. Even though I am a Jack Russell, I am very laid back. I like my walks, but don’t need a lot of room to run around. I like to be with people, but don’t demand a lot of attention like my foster parents other dogs. My biggest problem is that I like to be the alpha dog, so I would need to find a home without other dogs, or perhaps a home with a submissive brother or sister dog.
