Please meet this bundle of cuteness Miss Poolak! She is a 4 months old Shepherd-Saluki mixed puppy - scheduled to be spayed and up to date with all of her shots. She is already house trained, however her forever parents will need to show her where the correct bathroom area is in her new home. She has crossed the oceans in search of a safe and loving home. She was found on the streets of Tehran as a puppy and fostered by volunteers of Vafa Animal Shelter. She arrived in Washington DC On April 3, 2014 and has been loving the people, dogs and cats that she has met so far. Poolak is one loving and smart cookie still in need of more socialization as she is still learning more about the noises and strange things in the human world. She will do best in a home with an active lifestyle, and willingness to teach her lots of fun things using positive reinforcement training methods.
