Tobie is fostered in Green Bay WI, 54155 through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org. To find out more about Tobie, contact her foster mamma at: quietcourt2@yahoo.com Tobie is estimated to be 5 yrs. old and is 5lbs. A sweet little Yorkie girl who came to United Yorkie Rescue in June 2016, as an owner surrender. Sadly her family could no longer take care of her due to changing circumstances. Several years ago she was found as a stray by some very kind people who brought her to the Animal Welfare League in their community. Tobie did not have a micro-chip or any identification. She was put on a stray hold in the hopes her owners might reclaim her. Sadly no one did, so the people who found her came and adopted Tobie and took her into their family. Tobie is a beautiful sweet girl. She's been through a lot losing her family and recent vetting, where she had several teeth removed due to decay, and has had her vaccines and spay. One thing we have learned is that Tobie prefers to be with people all the time. She doesn't like being left alone and will cry. She doesn't do any damage but is clearly not happy when her people leave her alone in a room. So the best choice for her new family is someone who is home most of the time so she doesn't feel lonely. Her anxiety is improving but she continues to cry a lot when left or separated, but rarely barks. Tobie is deaf, but a very lovable, cuddly little girl who just wants snuggles and love. She's doing well with potty training, with a regular schedule she nails an 80%, she loves being outside and runs super fast, but doesn't like bikes and will chase them. She loves sleeping with her humans, she will need to go to a home that understanding she cannot ever be created as this terrifies her.
