UPDATE 10-29-08: Coki here - again! I'm a 2-3 y/o gorgeous yorkie mix and weigh only 5#. My foster home is in Miramar, FL. What's up with nobody adopting me yet? I'm soooo cute and sooooooo sweet and sooooooooo want to find a forever home. Foster Mom says that I will probably always be a puppy at heart and that I'll never grow out of puppyhood. And the problem is....?? Oh, she said that I hafta tell you something...........here goes....PLEASE NOTE! Because of my small size, I can only be adopted into an adult household - no children, please.
UPDATED BIO 09-24-08: Coki here...I'm 4 y/o and weigh 5# and my foster home is in Miramar, Florida. Lissen up - how come nobody has adopted me yet? Guess what? I've started playing like crazy with the other dogs in the house - we have soooooo much fun! Foster Mom said that I have typical puppy behavior, you know, like running around like crazee, asking all the other pups to play with me, and picking up just about anything that is on the floor and taking it to another room - ain't that what puppies are supposed to do? FM also said that I need a home where you make sure I follow the rules, cuz I'm always trying to find a way to get around 'em! Come on, I'm adorable, don't you want me to be your puppy? I'm being fostered in Miramar, Florida.

UPDATED BIO 08-22-08: Coki here - since you read about me last, it appears that I got younger somehow?! Since I've been in my foster home, Foster Mom kept telling me that I was just an adorable little puppy and that I played like a puppy, and did a lot of puppy things. Well........she asked several folks who know about those things, and they think I'm only 2-3 y/o instead of 4 y/o!! Isn't that great?? I don't know what those shelter folks were thinking when they aged me at 4 y/o! I still weigh 5# and I'm still cute - yup! But since I've been here, FM thinks that I would do much better in a home with at least one stay-at-home parent. See, I get really, really anxious and fearful when she is getting ready to leave the house and I get very, very stressed about it. PLEASE NOTE! Because of my small size, I can only be adopted into an adult household - no children, please.
Initial Bio 08-09-08: Hi, my name is Coki - aren't I cute? I'm 4 y/o and weigh 5#. Boy-oh-Boy, was I glad to see my soon-to-be Foster Mom come to get me, cuz the other dogs in the shelter were telling me it was my LAST DAY there, and that wasn't a good thing. Well, it turned out it WAS my last day there, and it's a really good thing since I love my freedom and my new foster home. Foster Mom says that I'm timid and fearful, and she thinks maybe I was previously in a home with children who may have mishandled me. She said I'm very sweet and playful and I get along with the other dogs in the home, although I could be an only dog and be happy. My coat was pretty matted but I loved it when she brushed me - it felt sooo good. FM said I need some help with my housetraining, and she's working on that with me. I'm smart, so I'm sure I'll get it in no time at all. Don't be scared off by my pix - it's the pix they took of me in the shelter and not so good. PLEASE NOTE!
