Hello,
I came from the shelter and into my foster home with the name Skipper, however, my foster mom said that I looked like an old soul that was quiet distinquished so she started calling me Walter. I am told that I am Such a handsome adult at the age of about 3, and that I am tall and lanky weighing in at around 60 pounds. Now I am not sure of my breed because I was a stray when I went into the shelter and I tried to tell the people about myself but they didn't speak dog....lol....so I am listed as a Hound mix. I do have an awesome houndish bark that makes my foster mom laugh. I go to the back door when I want to go outside, I stand at the door and let out one of my arrrrooooooof and she come to the door and takes me out. she tells me that I am housetrained and that I am a very good boy. She tells me that I can be A mellow laid back kind of fellow that is a love bug and a goofball, and I do like to play with other dogs, and I don't mind the cats, Actually .....I LOVE playing outside with the other dogs running and playing in the fenced in yard,
When I am in the house I am a good boy, mostly just lie down and take a nap, but if I hear someone outside I will let you know, mom says that means I am a good watchdog as well as a wonderful family dog.
I am looking for my forever family. I am a very good boy and mom says she doesn't understand why nobody has been interested in such a sweet boy like me....Hopefully soon someone will want me.
I am up to date on all shots including Rabies, heartworm tested and negative, neutered, and I am Housetrained.
Skipper had his day at Carols Spa For Paws where he was bathed, brushed, trimmed and flea and tick preventative applied and now he is ready for adoption.
