Yes, "BOOMER" is still available for adoption. This is one sweet, loving, gentle and quiet Poodle boy! Everyone who meets him loves him and he loves all the attention! Just grab a leash as this boy loves to go for long walks with you. He will happily meet people you encounter. He will also walk to the end of the world with YOU!
Boomer is considered a Miniature Poodle as he is 13 inches tall, 15 pounds and is just 6 year old (born October 25, 2009) , This is a special, soft, gentle and extremely quiet boy who enjoys being with people or a couch potato willing to watch television with you. He would also enjoy sleeping in bed with you.
This pretty boy is just fine with all of our Poodles. He will even run and chase them; "TAG! You're it!". However, he is used to being an only Poodle and the center of your attention. He has no idea what to do with a toy as he considers himself more of a family member and NOT a dog.
Boomer is also considered special needs as he is not good about drinking water. Really! So, we mix water into his high quality dog kibble along with some canned (soft) dog food which has a LOT of water in it.
He is doing just fine and eating / drinking his water that way. Boomer had a history of bladder infections along with crystals in his urine. BUT, he has been treated with antibiotics. We have had tests done at various times which show he is now doing much better and getting plenty of his needed fluids. Easy!
Did I tell you that Boomer is one sweet, loving, gentle and quiet boy?
Boomer sadly comes to us from a family where his beloved Daddy was admitted into a nursing home and his Mommy can no longer care for him. Tearfully, Boomer was surrendered to us. He had been purchased as a puppy and for his entire life, he has been well cared for, always deeply loved and spoiled.
When Boomer is bored or not happy, Mike takes Boomer for a ride in our son-in-laws 1966 Ford Mustang. Can you see a smile on Boomers face?! No, the Mustang is NOT included with Boomer's adoption.
His $300.00 adoption fee (includes the Minnesota State Sales tax) will include some of his past Vet records, a kennel, blanket, a new dog bed, leash, collar, a winter coat, a bag of dog food, cans of dog food, treats and toys.
Boomer has been Vet checked healthy, neutered, teeth have been cleaned, he has been wormed, his shots are up to date. He has been Home Again micro chipped and registered, heart-worm tested negative and placed on a preventative,
Everything has been done! This boy is healthy and waiting to go to his new family.
