My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

11/12/08 - I'VE BEEN ADOPTED!

ADOPTION FEE - $600

FOSTERED IN LOUISIANA

Weight: 5.7 lbs.

Age: 10 months

ADOPTION APPLICATION REQUIRED:
Visit www.YorkieHavenRescue.com to apply.

10/2/08 - Logan has been in his foster home approximately 7 weeks now, so we know his personality a little better and are able to fill the public in. Logan is a sweet “puppy”. He will need another pup in the household to play with that is around his age and energy level, but is timid around young children. He walks well on a leash, is a hearty eater, sleeps like a log at night and loves to give his humans kisses. He is working on his potty training, but a 10 month old’s attention span is very short at times. He is in his chewing stage and loves to have an army of toys at his disposal (along with a foster fursibling’s ears to pull on - Ouch!). He does tear up, chew on and pull out the occasional item that isn’t for him, but this is typical puppy behavior and he is getting better and understands “no-no” if caught in the act. Logan is going to make some person(s) very lucky when added to their family. Don’t miss out on this one, fill out an application today.

8/20/08 - May I Have Your Attention Please! Yorkie Haven Rescue would like to announce the arrival of the cutest pup in the world. Who Me? Yes, you Logan. Awww Shucks!

Well, like she said, I’m Logan and I don’t really have a said story to tell because life hasn’t been bad for me. I was in a loving home, but my owners realized that “puppy”was going to take a little more time and work than they had. So, I hopped on the next transport out and I’m now in a YHR foster home with other small dogs like myself to play with. Foster mom would like to talk to you now.

As Logan said, he is in his “puppy” stage. Unfortunately, the definition of puppy in the Webster’s Dictionary doesn’t explain this too well. So I’ll try. Chewing things that are theirs, but mostly things that aren’t; going outside, forgetting to do business, coming back in and instantly remembering; wanting to play at the oddest times – like bedtime and 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, etc. It’s definitely not all bad though. Logan is a real sweetheart and he loves to kiss his humans and show them how much he loves them; he’s like a great big sponge right now waiting to soak up all of your positive training; and you can’t beat that face which should be on the next Dog Fancy Issue.

If you think you’ve got what Logan needs, please fill out an adoption application and he’ll be the judge of that.
