My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yellowknife - nicknamed Sugar here in her foster home - is very sweet, very precious. She is also very skittish, having come from a breeder situation. She is fearful of foster Mom, but also still comes to her for licks on the fingers. Yellowknife loves toys and gets along well with the resident dogs, male and female. When she thinks no one is looking, she will jump on the dog couch and grab a toy, and bounce around with joy. She shows tons of promise to be a happy little girl soon. These breeder girls just need a bit of patience and lots of love before they turn into total love bugs (and naughty little Cairns)! She is still learning about house training but she’s making lots of progress. She is also a talker: That means she tells you what she wants, talks to her toys, and is very interactive. She loves to run and would be happier with a yard. Yellowknife is a ‘Princess-in-Progress’ and if you adopt her, YOU will be the one to see all her first times to experience joy, and love, and becoming the Cairn terrier she was meant to be.
