Tarn is a sweet, sweet boy who was rescued from a commercial breeding facility. He spent his entire first five years without love and is now enjoying being free! Tarn came to his foster home scared and broken down and would not let foster mom near him. However, after just a couple of days, he started coming to foster mom for pets and love. And now, two weeks later he follows foster mom all around the house and loves receiving attention. Tarn has a pretty high energy level - but you would too if you had been cooped up for so many years! Tarn is like a 5-year-old puppy discovering and learning new things so he will need someone willing to do some obedience training with him. He is known to chew on cords and things that are not toys but he just doesn't understand the difference yet. House training is going well and he has gone 5 days without wetting his crate and is in the process of learning to potty outside. From the very beginning, Tarn loved the other dogs and absolutely loves playing with the resident female Cairn (especially wrestling and zooming). Tarn would thrive in a home with other dogs that love to play. Tarn's personality is coming out more and more every day! Stay tuned.
