My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Colonel Potter, Sir! Recruit Devlin reporting in, as ordered, Sir! ID # 3100. Location - Camp Grim in West Virginia. Filing my report on the conditions here. As we suspected, the food is good and the lovin' is plentiful. There are toys and treats and lots of beds and blankets for recruits. It is like a vacation, Sir!
But these amenities have made slackers out of the recruits. After my thorough inspection of the perimeter, I have found that the 'duties' of the other fosters are lacking! I have spent the past six days painstakingly covering every foot of the perimeter and their marksmanship is questionable. Now I understand why you said it required someone of my special skills to sniff out the problems here. My 'sharpshooter ' is a perfect working machine. I will have this problem taken care of in another month or so. (Note - Request more water from the mess.) The Commandant makes me holster my weapon when entering the barracks. I keep trying to tell her a marksman must have his weapon available at all times! I have been able to foil their plans and soaked the holster, and have now learned how to remove it like the soldier I am. I will follow up with further details as my mission progresses.
Foster Mom here: Devlin; we call him Dev or Debonair Dev. He is fun-loving and makes his own games. Devlin was found as a stray. He was estimated at two years old, but I think he acts younger in his play and manners.
