My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Caesar is a happy, friendly, intelligent little 9.5 lb guy. He is short and has a small build for a Cairn, but he's done most of his growing at almost 3 years old. He has met the two resident dogs and they immediately agreed to be friends. Caesar loves being outside with our resident Cairn walking the perimeter of the fenced yard and exploring - as Cairns will do. He appears to be housebroken, although we don't let him have full, unsupervised house privileges just yet.
Caesar seems especially comfortable with men. He enjoys a good sit on my husband’s lap for a little TV time in the evening. He's a little timid when you bend over to pick him up. He will hit the floor and try to stay there with his tail tucked in. Caesar was surrendered to a shelter, so it's possible he wasn't in a home that understood terriers. He shows no other timid traits, barks at people coming to the door and will jump up to say 'Hello!' - as a welcome home. He doesn't appear to be a digger, or have an especially strong prey drive. Caesar is just a nice little fellow waiting to find his forever family. He would love a home with a doggy companion and a human Papa. Does that sound like your home?
