My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pretty little strawberry blonde is retired from a professional breeding situation and is in the process of learning how to be a pet. Librarian (we call her Libby) is housebroken with a schedule of trips outside, but is still too afraid of doors to ask to go out. She is frightened of a lot of things and stays very close, following me everywhere and lying at my feet when I am seated. She loves to be picked up and held, and will roll on her back to have her belly scratched. She is learning to play nicely with other dogs, but prefers humans. She would like to live with one or two adults and no children or other pets. She loves to play fetch with a soft, stuffy toy that she carries with her everywhere. She bumps my leg with the toy, and then brings it right back after I throw it a short distance. Libby really enjoys walks and prances proudly next to me, tail and head up. She would like a forever home very soon, with her very own Mom and/or Dad that she doesn’t have to share.
