My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is one smart dog! I think he could learn any trick in a couple of days, and I wish I had the time to train him for agility. I discovered yesterday that he knows 'shake'. He also has an uncanny ability to find hidden toys, so the pile in the toy box grows larger each day. He's also showing himself to be a man's dog. Not to say he wouldn't be happy with an attentive and knowledgeable woman, but he is clearly drawn to men. In spite of that, foster Mom got her first kiss this morning, and it was sweet indeed! Guy is totally housebroken and has learned to use a doggy door. He's also lost 1 pound, so his doggy diet is going well. He barks at the other dogs to get them to play with him, but he's too big and noisy for them to want to play with him. At some point, Guy learned that he could get his way by growling at humans, and many homes don't know how to discourage that behavior in a positive manner. A dog who knows what's expected of him will always be happier, and more secure. Guy is responding well to structure, love and positive correction. He's ready for adoption, but to a terrier experienced home only.
