My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Saranac is a young, 3ish, lovely gray brindle lass. It is hard to believe she is this age because she has the optimism, playfulness and curiosity of a younger dog.
Saranac comes from a situation few can imagine. She and a number of other Cairns had been tied outside their whole lives in the severe weather of the far north - near the Canadian border. As a result, she has no experience as an inside dog and every single item in the house requires exploration. She is a playing fool with other dogs, and if they don't rise to the occasion on command she will try to nag them into it. Saranac is very wiggly to handle and gives major hand washes when being held. To date she's too busy exploring her new life to sit still very long, so cuddling is rare so far.
This is one happy, outgoing girl who would do best with a home with other playful dogs, and would be an excellent candidate for any number of dog activities like obedience and agility.
