Courtney is a tiny, blonde beauty with large, expressive, dark eyes currently mostly showing fear, anxiety and resignation. Although her life as a breeder dog is finally behind her, she reacts instinctively to any unfamiliar sight by cringing, running, shivering or hiding.
If given the choice, I do not think she would ever leave her crate but she is reasonably comfortable once settled on the sofa surrounded by a few fluffy toys and after a few minutes will creep up next to us and even initiate play once in a while.
She is uneasy on the floor, possibly she was never that low down before and will immediately scuttle away, but she does enjoy her outdoor walks as long as nothing scares her. She is doing very well with her house training as long as she is taken out regularly.
Courtney is a sweet, timid girl and I am sure she will eventually blossom into the perfect pet.
