My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Captain Butler will be celebrating his 6th birthday soon and would love to have his forever family there with him for hugs and kisses! He is quite handsome but needs to learn the essential etiquette issues of not jumping up on people and using the outside for 'private business', but he's so happy and loves the touch of your hands that he forgets. Being a stud dog he only knew concrete, and grass is like a cool carpet to run around on, not a potty place! He walks very well on a leash and really perks up at the sight of a cat, squirrel, bird, and other dogs. He is not destructive and enjoys his squeaky toys. We are working on longer walks as he seems to tire easily from lack of exercise, but he is fit and trim and does not have any weight issues. His coat is growing back from a short cut when coming in to CP. He will be even more handsome with a hard coat, full muzzle and those beautiful black tipped ears that are actually dark skin, and a dark tip at the end of his tail. He is lovable and loving without being clingy or anxious. He does need housebreaking and basic obedience, which we are working on. Captain Butler has been neutered, is up to date on his shots, and would be a happy addition to your family!
