My story

OK! OKAY! I'm under the computer, but I really want to come out and go for a walk, or sit in your lap & nap! My foster mumma says, 'You can do it! We can help!'
My name is Splash and I am a survivor! I was used for breeding in a less than desirable way and therefore I am fearful of people and other household situations. But - I have come along way in my transformation from being institutionalized to freedom!
I have a great foster brother that has helped me to become the dog I am today. I love going outside and I kick up my paws and throw back my head and act more like a pony than a dog! Mumma laughs a lot cuz I entertain her so much with my Cairn spirit.
I have learned to walk outside my fenced yard on a leash and I like to take long walks, but strangers along the route could slow me down. ('You can do it! We can help!')
I bark when my foster brother barks or when a stranger comes into the house. I don't jump on furniture, potty in the house, or beg for food or attention. Mumma says, 'I'm a very good dog!'
I just love the company of other dogs, especially girl dogs! I love to sleep in your lap, lay in the sunshine and I love to eat!
I know I would be a good companion for you if you have a quiet home. If you have a girl dog - ohhhhhhhhhhh I would be so happy! Please find room in your home and heart for me!
