Halas, or Holly Bear as we call her, was rescued with several others from a breeding facility where she had been a breeder all her life. She is 9 years old and she arrived at her foster home on 02/24/2007. She was very frightened when she first arrived but has since come out of her shell. She wants so much to love and be loved. She just snuggles in when you hold her, and she wants to be as close as possible. She is a beautiful red wheaten girl. She met her foster brother and sister earlier this week and everyone is getting along fine. She has a ferocious growl when her foster sister is a little too rambunctious but gets along well and actually follows her foster sister around. She eats well and has kept her crate clean and dry since she arrived. I believe she will be easy to housebreak because she goes potty outside when taken out. She would be best in a quiet home as somebody's snuggly friend or with another dog as company. She would probably be best in a home without cats, as she enjoys chasing them. She goes to sleep in her crate and doesn't make a sound until morning when the whole crew wakes up! Holly Bear is heartworm negative, up to date on her vaccinations, and already spayed. She is a real sweetheart so won't you put your application in now to bring her to her forever home?
