My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Miss Vizcaina wants nothing more than to have a home of her own with her very own people to love her. She is a good little girl and has a happy spirit. When playing out in the yard, she always comes when called. She does her business quickly and then is ready to be picked up, loved, and taken inside. Vizcaina likes to be in charge. She feels like she needs to prove something with her foster sisters, and does better with her foster brother. However, after a little adjustment she's doing well with most of the dogs she meets. She's not a really active dog and doesn't run and play a lot in the yard. Mostly, she walks around the yard exploring, or returns to get more attention. Inside, she'll explore the room and then settle down by someone's feet. She has a more laid-back attitude than most Cairns I've met. At the same time, she's bright, curious, and happy. Vizcaina came to Col. Potter from a commercial breeding facility, but it doesn't seem like she was there all her life. She isn't afraid of people and responds well to them. She will run up to strangers and put her paws up on their knees for attention. She walks well on a leash and has obviously had experience living in a house. Do you have room in your home for a little Cairn girl who somehow ended up in a breeding facility by accident? We'll probably never know Vizcaina's whole story - only she knows what really happened. But take a look at her big brown eyes. She'd like to show you how much love and happiness she has to give.
