My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Isabell (pawparent@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.

Mutt Mutt was abandoned at Paw Parent. The person abandoning her rescued her from a very abusive situation. Supposedly poor Mutt Mutt was tied to a tree and mistreated by people and children. To this day Mutt Mutt is extremely afraid of strangers and needs time, love and understanding before she trusts a new person. Once she knows and trusts someone, she is the most loving and affectionate dog, full of fun energy. She absolutely loves to play tug of war and shakes the toy wildly when she succeeds. Once properly introduced she he gets along great with other dogs and loves to play with them. She truly will bring love and fun into the life of whomever adopts her, but does need an experienced dog person because of her mistrust of strangers.

She is now about 7 years old and about 50-55 pounds. She is spayed, micro chipped and up to date with her shots.

Please call 661-724-0642 if you want to meet her.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

If you have found a pet of your liking on our site and contacted us we will make sure to get back to you as soon as possible.
We require a potential adopter to fill out an application.
If the application is satisfactory we will contact you to set up a time to meet. We also do home checks to make sure that the house or apartment the pet will go to is safe. The pet will be brought to your home at the time of the home check and if everything looks good and goes well the pet will be left with you. We are asking for an adoption fee and we also will have you sign a contract.
We allow a two week trial period during which the money will be refunded if it turnes out to not be a match. After the two week period the adoption fee is not refundable.

More about this rescue

Our goal is to fight for the plight of all companion animals so that none of them will ever
have to experience the horrors of being imprisoned in a pound system, where most of them are executed for the “crime” of being unwanted and homeless.
Animals entering our sanctuary will be given exceptional loving care and all the necessary medical attention whether short term, until adopted or for their lifetimes.
The survival of the sanctuary depends entirely on the support and donations from supporters, members and volunteers.
Through your generous giving we will be able to save countless lives in the future.
