Asha is an extremely affectionate, friendly Bombay/ black DSH mix gal who was born in late April 2016. She has a shiny patent-leather coat and mesmerizing copper penny eyes. A Good Samaritan in Katy found Asha and her brother, Pele, and contacted Buster's Friends about finding them good homes.
Bombays are renowned for being so attached to their humans, and Asha is no exception. She loves to cuddle with humans (as well as Pele) and be petted. She loves people and will even demand their attention. She thoroughly enjoys playing with her brother as well as with toys, but when you feel like being a couch potato, Asha will watch TV with you!
Please don't be superstitious of black cats! Buster's Friends makes a concerted effort to rescue black cats and kittens from shelters because they are five times more likely to be euthanized than any other color of cat. However, many people who have previously had a black or Bombay mix cat end up adopting another one because they seem to have such wonderful personalities and are emotionally stable and well balanced. Asha is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home.
