Lefty's Story...
The heartbreaking story of Lefty....His first home was with a nice lady who loved and cared for him until his person became very sick, physically and mentally.. Unfortunately, she could not care for her pets and Lefty was let outside where the young cat was hit by a car, breaking his left rear leg. After many hours of surgery and lots of pins in his leg, Lefty was back to normal health wise. But, his owner was still neglectful and his life there became terrible. The owner, had all of her pets taken away due to her lack of care for them. Lefty was adopted by another person who kept him for a year and now has decided that adopting a cat wasn't a good idea for him. After all that Lefty has been through, he is still a sweetheart and loves his human friends. Lefty has a little limp in his left hind leg from the car accident but it is hardly noticeable. All you see when you look at this handsome kitty is his gorgeous eyes searching for that one person who will give him a safe and loving, permanent home. Lefty has used up a few of his nine lives and this time we are looking for an excellent home for him. If you would like to meet Lefty, please email and ask for a match maker form to see if your family and Lefty would be a good match. Could you be the happy ending for Lefty? He has been thoroughly vetted at Larkspur Cat Clinic and his health records will go home with him. For more info on Lefty, Call Sarah at Larkspur Cat Clinic at 602-548-1899.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lefty, a Phoenix Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
