My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tie, Grand Tie Breaker, is available for adoption. He is a 24 year old, 14.1 hand, registered Arabian gelding. Tie was a birthday present when he was two years old. His owner did all of his training from the ground up. He used him for competitive trail trials throughout California and even took them out of state. Unfortunately the owners wife took ill and he took care of her for two years. A few months back his wife passed away. He was not able to work with his horse or ride him while his wife was ill. Now his world has changed and he no longer has the means to keep Tie. Tie is a typical Arab, very intelligent and very loyal to his owner. He had a tough time when he first came to OER, because he really missed his owner. But things have turned around for him and he's doing much better. He is now ready for his new forever home. He doesn't like to be in the pasture with a bunch of young horses. He loves human contact. Enjoy treats. He would make an excellent companion. He is also in excellent shape and has many miles to go. He is super smart and will anticipate what you want to do and go for it. He will take advantage of a beginner rider, not to be bad just planning out his own agenda. He still has so much go and yet he will walk along the trail nicely. He just needs someone that knows how to ride. Tie's adoption fee is $750.00.
