My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jerry is a tiny, 5 lbs fluff of a Chihuhua/ Papillon mix who was found as a stray. At the shelter, he was having a rough time adjusting to all the noise and commotion, but in his foster home with a predictable schedule, and other older dogs to hang with, he has been feeling much better. He’s still frightened of loud noises and new things, but he’s adjusting more and more every day. He would love a forever family with at least 1 dog sibling- as other dogs make him happy. He would also do best in a family with older children, or adults only, since fast moving tiny humans would make him very nervous. He’s learning to walk nicely on the leash and play with toys, and is already housebroken. He loves to be outside in the yard, dig in the dirt, and nap with his foster sister. Some patience and understanding of his nervousness and a person he can trust is all he needs to be your best buddy.
