Misty is a petite and quiet kitty who asks very little of her people. She is happy to curl up in a cozy cat bed or up in a cat condo for most of the day, with a little bit of playtime mixed in. This exotic looking beauty first found her way to ABC after being abandoned in a cardboard box behind a car several years ago. She then spent several years in a home before being returned due to both a death in the family and her beginning to act out when touched. We soon discovered that Misty had a bad ear infection and was in pain, but we fixed her up and she is ready for a new home! She tolerates other cats at the shelter, but would also be content as an only cat. Misty originally came to us with her front paws declawed. While she is very affectionate with staff and volunteers, she also is not afraid to tell you when she wants to be left alone. All Misty wants is a comfy place to relax and people who respect her alone time - do that and you will find her to be a loving cat who is easy to care for and requires little of your time.
