Hi everyone, my name is Nash. I am a delightful 3 yr old, 17 lb male Miniature Pinscher who, along with my housemate Reggie, was surrendered by our owner who could no longer care for us. During the past couple of months we have been confined to a crate in a basement where we were largely ignored. When HAL took us in we were filthy, covered in fleas, had very long nails and had not been walked or even taken outside in several weeks. So losing my home has been one of the best things that has happened to me.
I am a very smart little guy who is polite, obedient and well behaved. I have a medium/high energy level and do well with a couple of 20 to 30 minute walks every day. Although I am quite friendly when meeting new people who come to the home, I get a big kick out of barking at unfamiliar people and dogs on walks, especially when I am with Reggie. When I am walked by myself I am quite a bit calmer. Back at home I love to sit beside you on the sofa rather than in your lap but I do enjoy resting my head on your thigh. And while it is there you may as well go ahead and scratch around my ears and neck - I just love that. If you forget, no worries. I will nudge your hand with my nose to remind you.
Another dog in the home would work just fine for me but it isn't known how I would be living with a cat. Small children make me nervous with their sudden movements and loud noises so a home with older or no children would suit me best. I am a very loyal and loving boy who considers myself to be the protector of the home. I am always on alert for any threats and will let you know if I detect any.
I am a sweet, loving and engaging little man who is healthy, housetrained, neutered, microchipped and up to date on my vaccinations. My adoption fee is $450. If you would like to adopt both Reggie and I our adoption fee together is $800.
