Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This senior fellow, named "Mouse", is a long-haired, orange male of 12-14 years' age. He is a handsome, endearing, and large cat. He has had the misfortune of having a series of irresponsible people as his owners up until a pensioner recently took him in to save his life after finding him without food or water and locked in a house that had been vacated two days earlier. This kind soul is not in a position to keep the cat, but she wants to start him on his journey to a good life by finding Mouse a responsible, loving, and permanent home. CCR would like to assist her by advertising this case to finally find this cat an excellent adopter who wants to care for Mouse in his golden age.
Mouse is very loving with people, and with other cats he is non-confrontational. He is a clean cat and has no trouble using a litterbox diligently. In his history, he at one time lived with a large, unruly dog that made it difficult for him to get much food or time indoors, and he now doesn't like dogs of any kind, so a dog-free home would be best for him. It is not known how Mouse feels about children, but he seems to like all the adult people he has met, and he is a chatty boy with them.
If you would like to adopt Mouse and can offer him a dog-free, loving, responsible, and very permanent home, please contact his foster mom at dpeterson55@hotmail.com and tell her about yourself and the life you envision for Mouse. Adoption is subject to a home visit.
