My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Belle is a gorgeous girl who is looking for a forever home.

Belle was being surrendered at a high kill shelter by a young man who said he could not keep her at his apartment due to pet restrictions. He said if he could not surrender her, he would just 'let her go.' Poor Belle is declawed and would not have made it on the mean streets of Memphis for one night! So we took her into our rescue to help her find a new palace that she so deserves. Belle loves to play with string, soft balls, and enjoys running through tunnels.

She can be a little bit of a diva, so she would like to have a nice, calm home where she can just lay around with her toy sand be the princess she was born to be. Unassertive dogs and older kids should be fine, but she may like to be the only kitty in the household. However, she may be ok with other kitties if she is introduced properly.

Belle is declawed and must be an INDOOR ONLY kitty.

She is currently being fostered in Memphis TN.
