My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoro is not only a beautiful dog, but he is so smart and quick to learn! This boy is 10 months old and 45 pounds. He walks well on a leash, is crate trained, seems house broken and knows sit, down and come. He adores people and attention and is quick to roll over for belly rubs! Zoro is playful and seems to get along with all the pups we have here. This fella is fine in a safe fenced area - no digging, jumping, barking - but he is most happy being with his people. He is currently living on a horse farm where he follows us around as we do chores. He doesn't bother the horses and he waits patiently outside the stall when we go in to work with a horse. Zoro is a super cool dog and he will only be placed in the BEST home! Mr. Handsome is friendly but will not be placed in a home with small children due to breed. Adopter must have experience with this breed. Mandatory training will be part of the adoption process. If you think Zoro would make your family complete, please contact us at info.caresga@gmail.com for an adoption application or you can download one from our website www.caresga.org. We do adopt up North and all over so just ask for details. Please be aware than ALL potential adopters MUST have a vet reference which means you have proof that your other animals are/were well cared for. This includes all vaccinations, S/N and proof of monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Without proof of purchasing monthly heartworm meds, you will NOT be approved. $400 adoption fee
This includes each animal being current on age appropriate vaccinations including DHPPL, bordetella and rabies, de-wormed for any internal parasites (round worms, hook worms, tape worms and whipworms), tested heart-worm negative (if positive, they are treated), tested negative for tick borne diseases, spayed/neutered, implanted with a mini micro-chip and have been examined by a veterinarian to certify that they are healthy. All animals are also on a monthly regime of flea and heartworm medication. Lifetime registration for the micro-chip as well as 30 days of free pet insurance is also included in each adoption fee. In addition, each adopter will go home with a fitted collar, tags, a bag of dog food the pet has been on, Forti-Flora, and an adoption kit filled with valuable information and coupons as well as other various treats or toys as promotions become available. All puppy adoptions include a puppy training book, the Puppy Primer by Patricia McConnell, to help ensure a smooth transition for your new family member.
We ask that you consider an additional donation on top of this pet's adoption fee. This money will go directly into our Adoption Fund to be used exclusively for rescuing and caring for other pets in need. Many pets we take in have very high vet bills to get them healthy and adoptable for the public - much higher than their adoption fees. We receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from our community and caring adopters to continue our rescue efforts!
