My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Piper –I am a tiny 4 year old 8lb miniature Jack Russell. I was rescued from a high kill shelter in TN along with my sister. We had a really bad life before and it has taken us a long time to trust people. My foster mom and dad have been really patient with me and even let me hide behind their washing machine when I get scared. But now they think I am ready for my new home. So I need a home where there isn’t lots of noise and no little kids, they seem to scare me. I get along great with other dogs and would prefer to have a friend to hang out with. Of course I would need a new family that would be very patient with me and work with me until I learn to trust them like I have my foster family. I love to go outside and walk around so I would need a fenced in yard because sometimes I like to adventure off for a few minutes but I always come back when called.
