Norton is a Shelter Puppy Dog:
adoption date is 9-04-08 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date, As of this Month this Pooch is still at the shelter in need of rescue
Norton is around 7 Years old, Size: Medium 26-60 lbs, more towards 40ish pounds, walks on a leash, sat when I asked, appears to be SUPER DUPER sweet & loving, pretty well mannered, playful at the shelter, Norton's owner had no fence around his yard, so Norton took up chasing cars as a pass time job, so off to the shelter Norton came to find a new home and family who does have a fenced yard, the owner said that Norton did well around dogs, livestock and children and was fine around cats as long as they did not give chase. he also enjoyed rides in the car and is a special dog in need of a family or companion(s) to love.
Dawn gave a little test by looking in Norton's mouth, pulling on his ears and tail, holding his paws and giving little kisses and hugs. Norton appeared to past the test with no problems, he's a super sweet pup with a lot of fun & love to give his new family. Like all of our shelter dogs, we suggest a well fenced yard for Norton to play and be safe in. We feel he may make an outstanding fun loving family member and companion . If you wish, Norton can be tested around Dogs & Cats here at the shelter
