Hi there! My name is Annabelle. I was picked up by animal control and found myself in jail. Sadly, despite my microchip, no one came to bail me out. Power of the Paw stepped up and here I am, looking for my new home. I'm such a beautiful girl with an amazing personality, so I doubt it will take long.
I get along with dogs, cats, and kids over 12. I spend time kissing the kitties and love cuddling with them and my humans. My foster mom says I'm easy and she loves me so much. I'm obedient and affectionate so you get the whole package when you decide I'm the one for you. I strive to be loyal and the more we spend time together, the more we can bond.
As for basic commands, I know "sit" and "down." I know it doesn't seem like much, but I really do want to continue learning and can't wait to see what we learn together. I havent had an accident in the house either. How about that? Man, you are really hitting the jackpot with me, aren't you? Here's another thing about me....
I LOVE to swim! So I'm hoping to find an active family who loves to swim and maybe even someone who has a boat. That would make me so completely happy. So let's finish up this summer together!
The one thing that I do want to tell you... I'm not completely perfect, even though it sounds like it. I protect my food so I need to be fed separately from other pets and people. I dont like to eat in my crate, but please don't touch my bowl while I'm eating. I'm afraid that one day, my food won't be there so I want to make sure no one takes it. If you have to remove the bowl, a "sit" command will get me away from it so that you can safely remove it. Of course, I'm so sweet that I only voice my protectiveness, so it can be worked on.
