My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Updated bio 9/6/16 Bo Diddley has arrived! He’s an adorable Yorkie Poo, probably only 3 years old. Bo Diddley weighs 13 pounds. He is singing his tune in The Villages, FL.

Bo D.’S adoption fee is $425 and includes all vetting (neuter/spay, dental cleaning, immunizations, microchip and chip registration). A Vet reference, personal references, and home visit are required for adoption. You may apply to adopt Bo D. by going to our website at www.unitedyorkierescue.org and completing the adoption application located on our home page.

Hi Folks, it's me, Bo Diddley. I'm loving my new foster family, including Bubba (a little runt of a Yorkie with no teeth), Bogie (a scary African Grey Parrot, who keeps calling my name and asking me if I want to go out), and Birdie (a pretty little green and yellow Parakeet, who just sings and sings all day long). We all get along real good - and of course, there's Foster Mom and Foster Dad, who have just let me sleep in their big bed with them and Bubba :)

When I went to the dogtor, they weighed me in at a little over 13 pounds. They said my teeth and heart and everything were just great and all the blood tests and other tests came back with smiles too. So, I got a clean bill of health. My only problem is that I just can't get the hang of doing my business outside instead of in the house. I have this silly band around my tummy so I don't wet anything but the band. I really don't like that at all, so I guess I'd better pay closer attention to what Bubba does and how he always goes outside to do his business, or sometimes, when he does go in the house, it's always on a pad or newspaper in a special place. Foster Mom and Foster Dad and I are working really hard on this.

My foster mom explained to me that soon I would be going to a different family, but that would be the last move I ever have to make. She promised me that she would pick just the right home for me and that I'd be just as happy there as I am here. I'm not so sure about that, but I'll trust her judgment. If you think you are the right family for a great guy like me, please put in an adoption application and don’t forget to put my name, Bo Diddley on that application, because you know you want me.

Well, that’s about all for now. Bo Diddley, signing off until next time. I hope the next time it is a Happy Tails story about me in my real true forever home.
