Max (his name was Payne but I refused to call him that) was saved by CMDR and he came to me on August 25, 2016. He was days away from death. Max was severely matted and obviously emaciated and days away from death by starvation. He was vetted, bathed and shaved and what was under all that dirty, matted fur was shocking. Bones from head to tail. I honestly don't know how he was standing. The vet handed him to me and helped us to my car. I sat and cried and hugged him before I could pull myself together to drive. He returned my hugs with licks, lots of them. We arrived home and I introduced him to my pugs Pugi and Zoey and he snarled a bit.... this will take some time I thought. He took one look at Bella and they were off and running together. From the moment these 2 discarded, neglected souls laid eyes on each other it was love at first sight. Bella has blossomed into a social butterfly since Max arrived and Max is chunking up and learning his manners. This little boy wags his tail in his sleep. Max and Bella play, cuddle, sleep, and eat together. They are extremely bonded and will be adopted as a pair. To adopt this sweet pair contact their foster mom at (702) 321-1505.
