My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yogi is fostered in Beach Park IL 60083 through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org. To find out more about Yogi, contact his foster mamma at through the question/inquiry link.
Yogi is a 6 year old, 7lb. Yorkie boy who came to United Yorkie Rescue in September 2016.
Yogi is neutered and up to date on shots. He’s working on house training, although he will go outside when taken out, a regular schedule works well for supporting him and his training.
Yogi loves to go for walks, but must ALWAYS have a harness and leash on as he’s a ‘bolter’ and will run. Because of this he will require a fenced yard and a family able to prevent him from slipping through fence gaps or doors that are open/closing. He will run through a door with the smallest opportunity.
Although Yogi weighs in at 7lbs currently, he’s a small guy and should lose a pound or two. He will need someone willing to work on this with him, through high quality food and portion control.
Yogi’s a sweet, lovable little guy who loves to sit on the back of the couch so he can see everything and feel involved. He hasn’t shown any marking traits (just needs work on learning to alert when he needs to go potty outside), and he’s great with stairs even though he’s small.
Yogi’s living with 3 Yorkie girls at his foster home and gets along very well. Sometimes he can be a bit greedy will try to eat out of the girls’ food bowls, so foster mom separates them at eating time.
Because of his small size there should be no small children in the home. Yogi has to be carefully watched when doors are opened so that he doesn't bolt out the door. He still has accidents in the house once in a while, but when taken out he goes great!
Yogi loves his doggy bed but wants to sleep with his humans, he'll reward with lots of snuggles and kisses.
This sweet little boy will be the love of your life when he steals your heart away!
To find out more about Yogi and his needs, contact his foster mamma at through the question/inquiry link.
