Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am an approximately 6 year old Pit Bull mix. As you may see from my photos, I haven't had the best life (I am missing an ear and a toe and I have had 3 surgeries to correct a past injury to my leg) but things are looking up for me. I will always have a slight limp and have to avoid strenuous activity but I'm still able to keep up! I am very affectionate and love belly rubs. I can be slow to warm up to people especially men so I need a patient family that will understand I may need some time getting used to them in the beginning. But once I know you won't hurt me, I'm your best friend for life! I am house trained if let out regularly and crate trained. I love toys and to chew on bones; Nylabones are my favorite. I'm a very strong dog so someone that can handle my strength is a must. I also prefer to be the only pet in the home and kids tend to scare me, so I would be most comfortable in a kid free home. If you are interested in adopting me, please let my foster mom know!
Maia is spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. Maia has a $30 adoption fee for her. If interested in adopting her, please fill out our Adoption Application on our website
