Cookie is a dobie / pit mix we think, with beautiful masking, and a lovely coat of grey over brown. Her ears have been cropped down very close to her head - a really bad home crop job designed, we're sure, to try to give her an intimidating look so that people would want to buy her puppies.

Cookie is anything but intimidating, though! She is extremely loving, sweet and highly affection ate. Cookie loves to play with other dogs, and is also happy to play with a toy by herself. She is between 2 and 3 years old, and is a very calm and loving girl. She would be wonderful as a companion for another dog, or the best friend and snuggling companion for someone who doesn't have another dog.

Cookie was rescued and brought to the shelter after being abandoned in a home with no food, water or electricity. Who would do that, you might ask? The same kind of people who butchered her ears and made her have puppies. But all that is behind this sweet girl, and she's ready to live the rest of her life in the lap of sweet affection!
