"Sammy" is a handsome male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on July 4, 2016 along with his siblings (Betsy & Patriot) after they were found in the Belpre Ohio area. Sadly, his brother "Patriot" did not survive :( "Sammy" has a brown tabby short smooth coat, a long tail, and a sweet kitten face. He and his siblings had severe eye infections when they entered our shelter, but thanks to the excellent care they were given by our compassionate kennel techs, they are looking great these days. Sammy's left eye is still a bit cloudy but he appears to have good vision "Sammy" is a playful, active kitten with a zest for life. He and his siser (Betsy) have shared a cage since entering our shelter and have not been separated since birth. We'd love to see them find a home together. "Sammy and his sister will be available for adoption as soon as they are spayed/neutered. UPDATE: "Sammy" was neutered on September 28, 2016 and "Betsy" was spayed on the same day. They were also given rabies vaccine. They are now available for adoption/rescue/foster.. Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues/fosters.
