My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Penny.  Her foster mom says she is one of the sweetest puppies she has ever had! Penny is very loving towards people and other dogs alike. She is kind of shy in nature, but she warms up very easily. Once you have her heart, she loves to give kisses, cuddles, and will often nudge her head under your chin. Her eyes show her appreciation to be in a loving home. She is crate trained and potty trained. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night, although I'm sure she'd love to cuddle in bed with you if you let her. She is very smart and easy going. She likes to lay on the couch with the other lazy dogs in her foster home, but she also loves to play outside when they have their spouts of energy. She is not hyper, doesn't chew on things (other than the occasional blanket in her crate). She is so well mannered and easily one of the best puppies her foster mom has ever fostered. She knows our routine very well, and has integrated in her foster home so quickly! Her foster mom can't say enough great things about her! She has a funny quirk about her when napping . . .  anytime she moves, she lets out a long sigh/grunt that sounds adorable! She deserves the best home!

Penny is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio.  The adoption fee is $150.00.   An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required.  All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites.  If you would like more information or an adoption application, please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com.

Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
