Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Michael was found in a shopping center, neglected, exhausted and injured. He was turned in to Contra Costa Animal Services where he remained unclaimed and unwanted until his time was up. We're not sure who is happier that he's with us now - him or us!
He is a very sweet, quiet and super affectionate dog, his tail hasn't stopped wagging and he's so grateful for love and attention. He is kind toward other dogs, just gets annoyed by very energetic tiny ones. Michael is too interested in cats so will need a home without any.
He's 70 lbs (needs to be much less) and we think he's ~7 years old.
Michael came to us extremely obese, a result of an untreated thyroid issue. He'll likely need to continue on thyroid medication for life (inexpensive). Our big ol' baby is feeling so much better as he loses some of this excess weight. He loves to go on short walks and waddles faster each day!
To know Michael is to love Michael.
