Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pixie came into our rescue last week from Ansonia CT Animal Control. She had been found roaming, and was terrified in the kennel. The animal control officer called us for help, and we were glad to be able to say yes!
After a visit to our vet for her intake exam, Pixie moved into a foster home. She got along pretty much instantly with their other dogs. She seems to be a dog who is comfortable and accustomed to living in a home and is just fine with everyone - other dogs, cats, and children.
She got a clean bill of health from our vet, with the exception of a mild skin condition which is being treated. It also appears that Pixie has already been spayed.
She will spend a little time settling in with her foster family, and then will be ready to be adopted.
This girl is a gem :) She is the most adorable little pup. She is just a love bug - friendly, affectionate, calm and confident. Any family who adopts her will be lucky indeed to have her as a new family member
