Gretchen's Story...
Meet one of our 6 @ 6 puppies -- so named because we took in 6 of them when they were 6 weeks old. 6 @ 6 sounded like a news show to us, so that is how they got their names. Mama was a stray who showed up at someone's home heavily pregnant and gave birth in their barn. Mom is a Pit mix -- we have no idea what dad is. She is so sweet that she has a forever home with the person who found her.

The puppies are all different shade of beautiful brindle. They will be 8 weeks old and ready for forever homes October 6th. We are taking applications and hope to have homes for each of them as soon as they are ready to go.

If you are interested in giving this sweet baby a home, please email jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you an application to complete and email back, or you can visit our website http://jojosdoghouse.com and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite treatment and prevention and microchip with lifetime registration. Thanks for choosing adoption!

Visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gretchen, a Gallatin Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Gallatin, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Gallatin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gallatin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gallatin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gallatin paves the way for another one to be saved.
