Jack is a handsome 5 year old American Bulldog mix who, through no fault of his own, has spent too much time bouncing around between shelters and temporary homes looking for a true *forever* family. Jack is currently in boarding in Portland, ME and would appreciate a couch, home and family to call his own.

Jack is a sweet, mellow guy who would prefer a home where he has someone around most of the time. He would be a great companion for an active retiree.

Although Jack has shared a home in the past with some other dogs, once he bonds with his humans, he tends to be protective of them around other canines. As as result, Jack would appreciate being the only pup in the household. In the past, Jack has shared his space successfully with dog-savvy kitties. Children make Jack anxious, so a child-free home would be best.

Jack loves going for car rides - he is a wonderful co-pilot. He also enjoys leisurely walks and has nice leash manners.

Please help Jack find the family he deserves so he can settle down and enjoy his life. You will not be disappointed.
