My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***** ADOPTION PENDING *****

Perfect pup for Family
Roxy is searching for a forever home. This little girl is so easy to get along with, and is going to fit in great when he finds a new home! Roxy has a loving, loyal, energetic personality and wants to be friends with everyone she meets. Her friendly yet gentle nature says she would do well with a family where she can get lots of love and chances to play. Roxy is especially loyal to her people. She LOVES humans and other pups alike. She will follow you around the house longing for your attention and when you look her way that tail starts going 90 mph. She’s happy to roll over on her back and give you a chance to pet her cute spotted belly.
One of our favorite things about this little girl is her adorable looks. She has a sweet face with a slight fawn colored patch over one eye, add in the cute flop ears to the picture and this is one adorable little lady. Roxy is a Chihuahua, Jack Russell mix. She is a small dog of 14 pounds and is 2 years old. Roxy is crate and leash trained. Before coming to us Roxy was trained to use puppy pads in the house and is adjusting well to house training in her new foster home.
To prepare for her adoption, Roxy has been spayed and given all of her age appropriate vaccinations. She is negative for heartworms and has been given good bill of health by our vet.
We do our best to place our foster pups in the right type of environment to suit their individual needs. With this goal in mind, Roxy’s new home will need to be with people who are committed to playing and spending time with her every day. Roxy would be very unhappy and unsuited to life in an apartment or being alone for long stretches of time. Her new home must have a fenced in yard. Roxy gets along great with other dogs and being extremely social, she needs at least one doggy friend to keep her company.
**** A current vet reference is required. Friends of Cats and Dogs preforms a home visit with the prospective animal so out of state /area adoptions are not possible. ****
