Guinness's Story...
Hello! My name is Guinness. I am a 5 year old Black Lab who is searching for someone who would like to adopt me! You see, my brother Declan and I were found as strays and ended up in a shelter together. The shelter was having trouble finding a home for both of us and we were sad being there. We were thankfully pulled by Lucky Tales rescue and are safe in a foster home! Typical to my breed, I am loyal and loving dog! I love to take strolls in the neighborhood. I am learning that a crate is my safe place while my humans are gone for the day. I am house trained. My favorite thing to do is take naps and relax with my other furry friends in the house. I am perfectly content to lay by your feet to snooze the day away! I am good with other dogs, we are not sure about cats. I will be neutered, up to date on shots, wormed, heartworm tested, and microchipped prior to adoption.

My Adoption Fee is $200.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Guinness, a Florence Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Florence, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Florence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Florence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Florence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Florence paves the way for another one to be saved.
