Rocky's Story...
If you are looking for a lovable, charming cat that will carry on a conversation, then Rocky just might be the cat for you! He is a very handsome five year old boy who loves to talk! Rocky is very affectionate and will flop down on his back for scratches and cuddling. Rocky is a rather large boy, tipping the scales at over 20 lbs., but loves to be around his people and will follow you around, tapping your leg to try and stop you from leaving! Rocky has an allergy to seafood and will require close attention to his diet. He also would prefer to be the only cat in the house, as he doesn’t like to share the limelight with other cats or dogs.

Rocky unfortunately, was abandoned by his owners for some unknown reason. Since his rescue, he has been showered with love and attention in his foster home. His foster family says he is “a big boy, with a big heart, very smart and acts like he is a big baby kitten”.

If you would love to have a big, handsome, extremely loveable cat that will carry a conversation with you, then Rocky would love to meet you!

Rocky is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Oakville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oakville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Oakville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakville paves the way for another one to be saved.
