My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Koa, is a 1.5 year old, purebred white GSD male in search of a home and loving family.

Koa is a very good boy and obviously an absolutely gorgeous animal. His issues center on trust, Koa came to us as a nervous dog in need of socialization work. He was loved by his previous family and well cared for, but was very fearful of strangers and was starting to display defensive behavior. Luckily, we got him before any lines were crossed and he's starting to turn the corner with his socialization to the point where we are now ready to re-home him with responsible, experienced owners, who will continue to build his confidence and help him achieve his potential. These days, he is running around having a ball with some of our other rescues and displaying confidence around new people and situations he's unaccustomed to.

Koa's adoption comes with our Lifetime Training package and we want someone who will utilize that, make time to come out and do socialization sessions with us regularly as he continues to develop. If proper time is invested in Koa, he is going to be a phenomenal animal.

Koa is neutered, housebroken and crate trained. Please do not contact us about Koa if you are in an apartment or condo, have cats or small dogs, or children under the age of 7. If you meet the qualifications for him and feel you can give him strong leadership and a wonderful life, please submit an application!
