**BASIC INQUIRIES ASKING QUESTIONS THAT ARE PROVIDED WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. ** WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS WHO HAVE EXISTING PETS/ FAMILY/ PAYING JOBS. OUR TIME IS IN SHORT SUPPLY AND WE APPRECIATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING

WHY IS THIS DOG IN NEED??- This little one is a saved dog from the Korean meat market. He was in foster care there- but needed a chance as a new life. We were asked and said we would try and help.

he is about 2yrs
good with dogs.
house trained- a work in progress { HIS CRATE WAS DRY/ CLEAN AFTER A 13+PLUS FLIGHT PLUS WAIT TIMES ON BOTH ENDS OF TRIP FOR A TOTAL OF A GOOD 18 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
very soft sweet boy.

** REQUIREMENTS FOR CHARLIE **
- fenced yard
-a existing buddy in the home would be great but specifically a requirement.
-Kids 6 yrs and older
-committed owner for training and socialization

** INFO RECEIVED**
1.Were any of the dogs with children?? – what ages ? ages- 10+ . He was shy at first, likes the person after a few days. But not suitable for small children with too excited
2.Where they came from before for you?- a puppymill or meat market ? : He was abandoned, lived in shelters that euthanize performed. we were rescued him because his deep and sad eyes.
3. do they come when called? : almost- but needs training
4. do they know how to walk on leash? : No, should be trained.
5.any fears, things they do not like : Pet dryer room / groomer
6- good with dogs ? Get along well with dogs. He is meek, and is calm.
7. ok to be handled- picked up ? – cuddle and loves to lean against your body.
8. must have a fenced yard ? –Yes


Charlie has arrived!!! OMG.. what a doll... he is exceptionally quiet!! He was quiet in crate even when others were barking. He is a great little traveler!!.
He is a soft boy- not crazy hyper as of yet to show this, is a very calm, relaxed boy. He was not stressed by the trip, environment or the various volunteers that were helping!!
He is very food motivated- likely from the trip with limited food. Had no issues with being handled, having food provided... but i can see him trying to steal anothers food if allowed.
He is such a gentle boy... and i think would be a great cuddle buddy!!

More to come as we learn / confirm this dogs needs as she settles in foster care..

Pets should never be euthanized by their owners simply based on financial consideration when something goes wrong.

It can be completed, saved and emailed back to the rescue at
petrescue@hurontel.on.ca .

1. We require a fully filled app to be considered as a possible home
2. Only the approved app will be premitted a viewing with the pet ** in the foster home **
3. ALL family members MUST meet the dog ** in the foser home** .
4. Any exsisting pets MUST attend the meet/ greet with the dog ** at the foster home ** .
5. A home visit must be completed as part of the adoption process after the inital viewing by a rescue representative.
This is not a replacement of the meet/ greet at the Foster home.
6. We do not adopt outside of ONTARIO .
7. We do not deliver dogs. If and once the adoption process is approved and complete the dog must be picked up at the
foster home
