My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Puff - also known as Cream Puff and Cocoa Puff - is a 5-6 month old Collie-mix puppy. She is spayed and microchipped and has all her vaccines. She is housebroken, with or without a doggie door.

Puff - also known as Cream Puff and Cocoa Puff - is a 5-6 month old Collie-mix puppy.  She is spayed and microchipped and has all her vaccines.  She is housebroken, with or without a doggie door.  She loves men, women and children, although toddlers may be too rambunctious for her.  Puff is in a multi-dog foster home and has made good friends with all of the other pooches.  She loves to engage her brain when roughhousing with other young dogs.  She will duck under a bush and come out on the other side and surprise Trooper (another puppy about her age and size) or Pinky (a full-sized female Collie) and go "Ta-dah!" with great joy.  She would be sad without another companionable dog to play with and a secure grassy fenced yard to play in.

To raise a great puppy takes a lot of both love and time.  At least one adult should be at home most of the time to provide the guidance needed to ensure that Puff becomes the best dog on the planet.  The love part is not hard at all.  It is almost impossible to not love a warm cuddly bundle of fur.  A low stress household with a loving family is the perfect place for Puff to grow up.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our  Adoption Policies  and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online  Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email.  You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us. We will look forward to hearing from you as well.
